Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

This is for someone who struggles with social anxiety, continued stress and depression. Through this method, we work to accept our reactions, stay present and make choices that allow us to take action.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This is a great option if you have a short-term goal that you want to achieve. Through this method, I will provide you with the support and accountability to achieve your goal!

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

This is for someone who wants to increase their self-awareness. We work to be present and aware of your thoughts, feelings and experience from moment to moment.

Person-Centered Approach

This method is really where you take lead. Some people heal best by openly discussing your experiences and challenges. In this method, we take a look at what is going on and you are really in the driver seat and utilize my support on how to best handle the situation.

Trauma-Informed

Trauma-informed therapy considers the complex impact of trauma on an individual's well-being and how it shapes a person's ability to cope. Unlike traditional therapy, trauma-informed treatment integrates an awareness of trauma into every aspect of treatment while making safety a priority for clients.

Approach

As a licensed clinical social worker, Jeremy strives to provide his clients with a healing and compassionate environment to explore their concerns. Utilizing a number of therapeutic approaches including systems theory, social learning theory, and psychosocial development theory; he works to help individuals, couples, and families overcome life’s challenges. With a focus on collaboration, trust, and empathy, Jeremy strives to create an atmosphere where clients can feel comfortable and heard as they work towards their therapeutic goals.

Jeremy loves working with people who are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. People that are not afraid to laugh or sometimes cry; people that are open to being challenged in order to see the best results!

His greatest strength as a provider is that he is relatable. We all experience similar struggles in our own ways and nobody is perfect. Using this approach allows for a deeper alliance between Jeremy and his clients, allows them to feel comfortable and open to share without fear of being judged.
